NTW-AP18M6 is a dual-band wireless access point (AP) product launched by Nanten Technology for scenarios such as hotels, dormitories, offices, and homes, supporting 802.11ax. It uses dual radio frequency technology, providing a maximum access rate of 0.575Gbps on 2.4G and 1.2Gbps on 5G. The device can provide a maximum access rate of 1.775Gbps, ensuring that high-speed wireless performance is no longer a bottleneck.
The NTW-AP18M6 product also fully considers important factors such as wireless network security, radio frequency control, mobile access, quality of service assurance, seamless roaming, and IoT module expansion, working with Nanten's wireless controller products to complete wireless user data forwarding, security, and access control.

    The NTW-AP18M6 adopts a dual-band dual-frequency design, with 2.4G and 5G using the sixth generation Wi-Fi wireless standard—802.11ax protocol, achieving a maximum connection speed of 1.775Gbps, suitable for high-density wireless access scenarios.

    The NTW-AP18M6 supports uplink and downlink MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) and uplink and downlink OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access), enhancing concurrency capabilities and average terminal speed in high-density deployment scenarios.

    In high-density deployment and access environments, the average speed for a single user is increased to 4 times that of 802.11ac.

    The front network port of the NTW-AP18M6 supports VLAN tag configuration, supporting IPTV pass-through for hotel rooms, home ITV pass-through, and other services. The front also supports DHCP Snooping, allowing only trusted port DHCP responses, preventing unauthorized DHCP Server setups that disrupt IP address allocation and management, affecting users' normal internet access, and effectively preventing network failures caused by unauthorized routing devices.

    Fast Roaming

    The NTW-AP18M6 supports 802.11k/v/r fast roaming protocols, allowing terminal devices to achieve seamless roaming and improve user experience. It meets the needs for seamless roaming in industrial robots, hospital rounds, etc.

    Bypass AC supports Layer 3/VLAN and DHCP Option 43 for managing AP.

    Various AP management modes meet the wireless networking needs of small and medium enterprises, schools billing, smart cities, etc.

    Dual IP Address Management Dual Escape Prevention 

    Supports dual IP address management, fixed IP (6.6.6.6) and custom IP.

    In case of network failure, you can log in to the fixed IP address at any time to check the AP status, diagnose network failures, etc. First escape prevention allows access to the current AP via the fixed IP address when wirelessly connected to a certain AP.

    Wireless Serial Port Easy Operation and Maintenance

    When installing, debugging, or troubleshooting network devices, you can configure or check the status through the serial port connected to the network device. The uncertainty of the wireless AP installation location (roof, pole) makes the cost of using wired serial ports high and has limitations.

    The wireless serial port allows network management personnel to connect to the wireless AP anytime and anywhere via wireless connection using mobile phones, tablets, etc., quickly locating and solving problems.
